Don't know what to do.

So I have a 4 month old baby girl. I'm pregnant again. And I don't know what to do. My health is at risk but I'm SO against abortion. My OBs all said I must wait 2 years before getting pregnant again   So now I'm forced to weigh pros and cons. SO is confused too because he'd rather keep this baby. But not if he's going to lose me in the process.

Adoption isn't an option, like I said its only about my health. It's not the concept of two babies. It's of no Mommy.

I'm just hoping the test is wrong and my first response test is negative.

Have you made a pro con list? Writing it out and actually seeing it helps me make hard decisions.

personally I'd get an abortion. Are you really that against it to the point where you'd have two children live their entire life without a mother. And not even like you died later, they would never have known/remembered you. You can do whatever you want though, maybe your health isn't as bad as they predict? Good luck, that's a very tough situation.

If I had to make a choice it'd come out in favor of my living child.. i wouldn't try to give him a sibling if it mean I wouldn't be around to look after them.

I would make a pro/con list. I'm a big fan of those. Seeing if pros or cons outweigh the other helps me

I didnt wait two years, I only waited one year, and I know plenty of moms who didnt even wait 4 months and their babies came out fine, and so did they. If your already that against abortion, I dont think you should get one. I'm not completely against them, but I know I couldn't personally handle having one, and I think if your mind is already set that way, and you had one anyway, it would probably really mentally and emotionally mess you up. Just IMO. Good luck hun, no matter what you decide.

Edit: I reread your OP, and I completely missed what you said. Sorry about that. I still stand by that if your really against having an abortion but have to have one anyways, it could really mess you up mentally. Thats a really hard decision. Just keep in mind if you do get an abortion, your doing it for a good reason, and it isnt your fault. So sorry your going through this  

I am also against abortion for me personally (every one else it's their choice as far as I'm concerned) But if my health was at risk, that would be different. Definitely go in to see your doctor and find out exactly what kind of health problems you will be facing, if they are things that can be treated, or if the risk of your death is actually in the cards and just how high that risk is. Get as much information as you can. But most of all, trust your doctors. They would not advise an abortion unless it was the very last option.

You never know 100% what could happen. You could be totally ok through this pregnancy and it be some fluke. But if its that risky for you right now, I would talk as much as possible about it with my dr and really weigh out my options. If it were me at least, I don't think I would choose abortion but I can't really say until in that situation. It's your body and your choice. Make the decision you feel most comfortable with. Good luck and you'll be in my prayers no matter what choice you make.

Well that's where I'm torn. I wanna see my babies grow up. I don't want SO to have both alone because they'd have a very hectic life, being flip flopped around family while SO works his ass off. I'm a SAHM so I know without me he'd be in a tough spot :/

And on top of being Type 1 diabetic, last pregnancy I had a subchorionic bleed, pre-ecclampsia, was hospitalized on bedrest and eventually had her a little over 4 weeks premature. I was lucky she was 7lb 12.5 oz, and perfectly healthy. I'm scared this one would see the NICU :/

Its okay lol. And yeah, the only reason I have to wait is because of how risky my last pregnancy was. I ended up with a perfectly healthy preemie.But I don't know if I'd get that lucky twice. Thank you.

Yeah I'm very visual. Seeing that helps me too but I'm just afraid of what outweighs the other.
