Milk

DD's first birthday is coming up and we started adding a little milk to each of her bottles to get her used to it, but she still hates it and even with only little bits she seems to be getting constipated. I've heard of people using different milks but I'm not sure which one is the best. So what are some good substitutes for cows milk?

Coconut, almond, hemp. Rice is ok but blank calories and not nutrious. Soy mimics estrogen and is not good for the reproductive organs.

My 10 month old prefers the whole milk over her formula. I introduced it at 9 months. I would keep trying. But maybe they don't like it mixed so try some by itself

I think my lo is either intolerant or allergic to dairy so I'm making my.own almond and coconut I wish I could find some hemp milk. Its very nutritional

Ya I have heard that too about hemp milk. All my kids did very well with whole at 9 months, no mixing just straight milk. Lol she stop gets formula too but loves the milk so much more. We have never had constipation issues either. I'm thinking its cause she drinks water or apple juice once a day at lunch lol we alternate days

We've tried it straight a few times and she spits it out and then won't drink out of her sippy for a while after.

Oh ok. Well that's good   my lo gets eczema and diarrhea from cow milk formula. I'm afraid to try whole milk.
