My ex gave me one when I was like 14. I lost it a yr ago  
It was just silver but I LOVED it. I'm Irish, my favorite color's green and I'm born in May so emeralds are my birthstone lol
I have been telling SO for yrs I want a claddaugh ring with an emerald in it so I hope OP gives me the link to hers lol

The ring I got married with was only $200 something.
Would've been cheaper if I didn't have some freakish allergy to anything less than 14k gold.
Nothing wrong with that! People with expensive rings don't have better marriages or love each other any more than people with less expensive rings, ya know?

Oh well If u don't like marquise then of course get a new one haha. I only like marquise. Idk why. My fingers are chubby so it helps elongate them. Circles and princess tend to make em chubbier.

You could always get your stone you have now set into a pendant. That's what SO did with my original diamond that came in my ring. I'm a princess and had to get a diff bigger diamond from their loose diamond event haha  

He didn't want me to know it was under 100 bucks. That it's not exactly real emerald.
We live pay check to pay check. I really honestly couldn't care less. It's so lovely and it's the symbolism that matters to me.
He is really ashamed though and insists he will get me a better actual set before our wedding. I told him he's silly. Will find the link and post it, but note that while the band is real sterling silver .925 purity, the emerald is Cubic Zirconia.

I think it's gorgeous. I love the little accent diamond in the crown making it Glam and original.

I was thinking I could make it into a neckless or just keep it always even when I get an actual ring set. I don't think i'd combine it with a real engagement/wedding set, but maybe I could use the band.
