"Ms. Stewart has an unusual hobby: clipping newspaper articles of a particular ilk. She sent me xeroxs of her most recent finds. All of these clippings were from The Dallas News, from February 2006 to the present (this article was written Sept 2006). The articles had two things in common: (1) all of them were stories reporting on crimes, and (2) the perpetrator’s middle name was “Wayne.”
I have to say I was stunned by the number of examples she sent me:
Eric Wayne Kelley — sex charges
Nathan Wayne Green — kidnapping and beating, homicide
Ronald Wayne Spencer, Jr. — triple homicide
David Wayne Rhodes — 10 years for practicing nursing without a license
Larry Wayne King — homicide
Paul Wayne Mitchell — Theft
Michael Wayne Hills — theft
Jeremy Wayne Hopkins — homicide
Garry Wayne Carriker — knowingly having unprotected sex when HIV positive
Bruce Wayne Potts — homicide
Joshua Wayne Jones — assault of officer
Billy Wayne Sinclair — homicide
Billy Wayne Boyer — assault
Billy Wayne Miller — attempted murder and robbery
Kenneth Wayne Downs — sex assault
Jerry Wayne Lucas — attempted homicide
Tony Wayne Swinnie — aggravated assault of grandmother in front of her grandchildren, robbery
Larry Wayne Dacy — home invasion
Richard Wayne Miles — police standoff
Charles Wayne Thomas — homicide Maybe you could assemble a list this impressive for some other middle name, but I doubt it. Of course, these folks are following the path set for them by the notorious Chicago serial killer John Wayne Gacy, Jr. '

I'm sorry you had to experience that.  
I can relate though.
I come from a small family on my mother's side (my mom, her two siblings and two cousins; one cousin committed suicide which coincidentally is my uncle's son...and that's it) and my uncle is a paranoid schizophrenic. He wasn't like that until he came back from Vietnam. He takes over 14 medications twice daily-- mostly anti-psychotics--and has several different personalities. He's Unk when he's cool, jokes and laughs, Edward, the laid back potsmoker who reminisces about the war and Bill, which is the nonsocial, short answering wild-eyed personality.
Usually one look in his eyes says it all, of which "person" you're speaking to that day...or if you ask a question and he gives you short, harsh answers, it's time to go!
I was a kid when he flipped out on my great-grandmother, his grandmother, during a holiday get-together, attacking and almost killing her. It took my mom, dad (who is a BIG man), my aunt, grandmother and two more visiting relatives to pull him off of her. That is still etched into my memory...

Definitely. Especially when they start harming animals. That is a huge red flag that something is not right in the head.

I think there are def. Signs . Idk if recognizing them would help because I doubt therpy would help and you cannot lock them up and throw away the key for being potential killers nor can you slap a caution sign on their forehead. Perhaps they would be caught sooner though.....

Creeeeeeepy. My dad, brother and nephew all have wayne as their middle name!!!

And as sick as sociopaths are, it never fails to boggle my mind at how seriously intelligent they are. I mean, tricking the entire human race basically and getting away with the ultimate crime over and over again? It's insane.

Oh I agree, they have it down like nothing.

I'm a big proponent of mental health care but I honestly doubt it would help a serial killer. They are sociopaths and no amount of mental help will make them feel empathy and compassion for another human life.

I hope you realize that your dad is a sociopath and do not let him around your children...

One of my best friends has a son that does this. He's about 8 now. Super rambunctious (sp?), rough, and will kill small animals, such as lizards, etc. He smashes them with rocks or cuts them, etc.

How do I tell her to be careful and watch his behavior? It isnt a clear indication that he may be smurfed up later, but still.....
