why are people so rude i was out shopping with my daughter she was in her wheelchair and there was a group of people blocking are way i said excuse me and the parents did nothing

there was a little girl there and said mammy the girl wants to pass
the mam replied dont worry the retard can wait

like arghh are people really that rude
