Yes it is. And good for you for being able to contain yourself. That takes a lot of control. I don't know the extent of her needs but if she was able to understand them- let her know that some people are thoughtless and uncaring- and that not everyone is like that.

i have learnt to contain my self where we lived before there was a group of people who always made rude comments

Kids are one thing, adults though, that is un acceptable if you ask me. I once had a man tell me that I should just leave "that little monster" (my son) on the side of the road. They have no right at all. I've gotten better about letting things roll off of my back but I don't know if I would have had the strength you did not to tell her the hell off. i wanted to smack her and give her everything i had but my daughter was tired and grouchy and she doesnt really like alot of talking around her so i didnt want her to be stressed

I'm so sorry that happened. Some people are so rude and ignorant. I admire your control as I wouldn't have been able too. Even if I was there didn't know you and hears that douche bag say that I still would have lost it. That is straight up rude!! WTH is wrong with some people.

I have to say that I think people who are that rude are another species of human. I just don't understand that kind of meanness, especially to a total stranger (for some sad reason it always seems easier to be meaner to the ones who are closest to you, at least for me).

there's a chance my daughter could end up in a wheelchair and if someone said about her I honestly can't promise they would be walking away.

I am so sorry. People are so awful. I wouldn't have been able to contain myself. My son was born with only one testicle (not even a big deal) but people already are making rude jokes. I have a hard time containing myself for that so I really do commend you because I would have attacked the woman. Every child is a beautiful miracle and no one should ever say any different.
