I'm not being "weird"... Those are packed with lead and can break. Smurf, when I was decorating my house, I had a light shatter on me and I got shocked even handling them carefully. You wouldn't wrap a baby in an extension cord, I would hope... This is no different.

I've seen alteast 25 other people posting pictures of theirs kids playing with the lights as a photo prop. Nothing was said to any of them. I'm sure she watching her kids closely and standing right there, its really not a big deal.
