Every employer should be able to make an educated choice on the person they want to take a chance on."Yea I fully understand that & it makes sense, but I think it also sets many people up for failure which is why many people go back to jail. It kind of a hard situation to deal with because on one hand the people are capable of doing the same thing, yet there are others who want to do better & never go back to jail. Nobody is able to tell who is who so it is a risk no matter what.

Quoting Rabbit™:" They said even for the baby because it'll go onto my card? I'm having her on February 28th by repeat ... [snip!] ... willoughs can send me the paperwork I need, otherwise we'll be pretty screwed until I can get a job after the baby is born. "
Quoting Rabbit™:" I understand what they're trying to accomplish but not every junkie has a drug charge and not everyone ... [snip!] ... be required to use a barcode system. Places that punch in how much an order costs are often the places that buy food stamps."
Quoting MommyToWesley:" I agree with this. She should at least be getting aid for her kids. They definitely shouldn't be the ... [snip!] ... "I've looked everywhere and can't find a job" though. There are ALWAYS places hiring, as long as you're willing to do the work."
