really? that's terrible -- im shocked its that common. people can be so mean and just plain dont care :-(

i did a BG swap when my now, almost 5 year old daughter, was a baby. I had Mandi that girl who used to make the really cute jewelry. she made my daughter a necklace and matching bracelet and bought her a sweet boutique outfit -- i bought her son a really nice hat // sweater set from an upscale boutique. It was awesome.

reading these stories makes me \very wary of ever doing another which sucks.

My secret Santa was with my DDBs this year. We had a PTOT but moved to a private FB group.
I think if you have people like that that you're close to on BG, there's no need to worry.
But I wouldn't do it with randoms.

That's just creepy, because none of the info about ANYTHING is the same.

Googled her old username on the link the OP gave, it brought up a cache of her profile before she deleted everything, and it linked to that account. Same picture was on it too.

Apparently on twitter she goes by Simone, gave the OP the name Brianna, and on here she went by Katie.

I totally agree. I don't care about not getting mine from the stand point of stuff, I care from the standpoint of principal. I could have spent that money on extra toys for tots instead of some flake that apparently has some shady smurf going on with multiple profiles and creepy "principles ".

That is so creepy! Why the hell did I give my address to a stranger like that. I sure hope she or he or whoever that person is doesn't come back to BG. That seriously skeeves me out.
