That's a good point.. if you have her name and address, you might could find her on FB or find her phone number or something.

I looked on FB and no one by that name matched her area/age/etc.

I was in the Secret Santa and wasn't able to get my gift mailed out until like.. this past Wednesday because of work. Way past the due date, but my partner understands.

I did a BG gift exchange thing about 4 years ago and sent my package but never received one   I haven't done one since.

Yea. There's a huge difference when someone owns up to whatever it is (or like you, just gives a heads up) than when someone totally flakes out.

No, you don't deserve to be scolded. Sure, it is a chance you (in general) take...but it still hurts & it is still wrong.
