After baby weight loss.

I've always battled with my weight. Before getting pregnant with my oldest, I was losing weight. I dropped 50lbs right before I had gotten pregnant, back in 2009.
I was finally down to 165lbs. I've never been that little. (besides being younger)
I'm now 235lbs and I feel disgusted with my weight. I know I'm still pregnant so I'm fine with the weight now. Seeing as I did put on 18lbs this pregnancy.
I'm really hoping to get back down to at least 200lbs soon after having the baby.
With my oldest, I gained 65 lbs and lost 29 of the lbs before leaving the hospital.
I never was able to lose the rest of the weight, though. Maybe a total of 40lbs.
I need some weight loss tips for once I get the OK to exercise/diet.

I want to lose it healthy, not just starve myself.

I'd be happy if I could get down to 200lbs by May-June ish. Does 35-40 lbs seem reasonable by then? If I'm due Early Feb?

Calorie count using myfitnesspal and exercise 30 to 60 minutes a day. Drink only water or tea.

I'm in the same boat hun. I'm around that same weight and I hate my body...a little too much. I am struggling with self control so bad though. I had my last baby back in mid October and I lost my pregnancy weight pretty fast but I haven't checked to see if it has gone back up any.

I am trying to watch my portions...cut back on sweets and soda. Its easier for me to cut back rather than cut things out completely and end up stuffing my face from being deprived :p. Good luck lady, pm me if you ever want to...I personally could use someone to talk to about it :p.

How is your "diet" Fitness rite now?? Do you eat unhealthy, don't exercise?

I think I eat fairly decent.
I eat 2-3x daily.
I only drink water and milk. rarely do I drink any pop or anything else.
I'm not a heavy snacker either. no chips, cookies.. etc.
Maybe a few pieces of candy here and there from cravings but other than that it's meat, potatoes, fruits & veggies.
I don't do much exercise now, it's way too painful for me.
but I do work, so I'm still active and I do alot of walking at work.

When you get serious about loosing the weight, you need to be eating 6 small meals/snacks a day. I eat a small bowl of cereal for breakfast, then veggies and hummus usually around 9:30/10, then a salad and v8 juice for lunch, piece of fruit in the afternoon, and smallish portions for dinner. I know that's only 5, lol but they recommend 6 times a day, I'm just too busy at work for that.

When I had a personal trainer he told me not to eat smaller meals.
He told me to eat 2 meals and 2 snacks.
but no more than that.

I have only ever heard the smaller meals. Especially important to eat breakfast.
