i have a tilted uterus and have had 2 normal vaginal births with almost no bleeding. why were you being given morphine during surgery. you had an epidural right? didnt they just redose that? why would you have been "burning it off" quickly?

i have a tipped uterus and have had 2 kids vaginally. tipped uterus has nothing to do with your cervical opening...

it's not just tilted like a normal person it's tilted to the right. like my uterus is laying on it's side...which to me is awkward and anatomically just wrong in every way. The nurses at the hospital pulled out my epidural and they gave me a spinal block but he hit something wrong and because I was losing blood he asked if I was okay dealing with pain, I said I was, but it hurt like a bitch. I have no clue why I was burning it off so quickly, the anesthesiologist said it could've been that I had adrenaline pumping and that would counteract anything he was trying to give me for pain.

I just had my second c-section 12 days ago, and they gave me morphine during surgery..I thought that was the norm, lol.

well, I'm just going by what my doc told me. He said your uterus is tipped, and your cervix is literally facing your pelvic bone. Even when they checked for dilation it was nearly impossible because they had their fingers against bone, and it was unbearably painful.

but this is your second child right? and your first was vaginal right? your uterus would have been tilted back then too. i don"t think you understood what the doctor was saying to you

I did, PERFECTLY, he gave it the weirdest look and said he'd never seen anything like it before. He said that before my uterus had been tipped backwards which he said is fairly common and then when I told him it felt like she was always on my right side he took a look and sure enough for some "unknown" reason my uterus was the way it is now. I don't know...I can't reach my hand up there so I'm just taking his word for it. Doesn't bother me, I'm not having any more kids.

See anesthesiologist was shaking and he couldn't get it placed right, it was close enough it took away a good portion of pain, however it only did it on one side, so the morphine was supposed to help, but it really didn't. Well, not until after they closed me up and I felt like I wanted to drift away to night night town.
