ive been experiencing some very intense back pain since about 2am but its not my lower back its like from the middle &up and some stomach tightening could it be contractions?or is it only a contraction if its the lower back???

mine was only my lower back and stomach. Never up high. They started coming at intervals and got more and more intense as time went on.
Have you started timing them?

there 6-8mins apart lasting about 1 1/2 min..the pain is very bad but its tolerable for now so im waiting to call L&D!
