evening primrose oil (tmi)

so i took 2 evening primerose softgel capsules 500mg (vaginally) like 1.5 hours ago. i shoved them as far as i could lol, which was as far up as my middle finger could go (right by my cervix) the capsules dissolved and are leaking out. should they be? :/

I used those too, they didn't work :/ ... but you should lay down and keep your bottom half higher than your top half.

taking EPO from 35-36 wks on helps soften & ripen the cervix.

it doesn't induce labour... lol

from what my ob said, and what i've read online is that it does not induce labor what-so-ever. it softens your cervix. i'm at 'term' which is when you can start taking them.

i've clarified everything with my ob!

I wish I knew about them before I was to be induced, using them for only 2 weeks didn't change a thing lol

i have 22 more days to use them, so hopefully they do soften my cervix, cause i definitely don't want to go over due, or be induced!
