re: evening primrose oil (tmi)

like crampy? do you think it's just BH or actual contractions?

crampy; like an upset stomach almost. i'm not too sure cause usually whenever i have bh my stomach just goes hard and doesn't hurt

hm... idk if that's normal or not but I guess it could be!

I know because I was in the hospital being induced for 4 days before they had to stop because my cervix started closing and still didn't have her until a week later lol

Jeez! Were you overdue?

No but my doctors either wanted to induce or have me live in the hospital until she was born so we could monitor her heart.. I ended up doing both lol

It is normal to leak the oil! It ruins sheets let me tell ya! Also in the morning it could come out in your pee. All normal! And It does soften your cevix but that is about all. Been doing that for a few weeks and today is my due date and no baby so it is an up in the air thing!

I started using this around week 36 vaginally and upped it the last 3 weeks. This along with sex (sperm) helped ripen my cervix big time! I started contractions at 11 pm Sunday night and had my baby at 4:13 a.m. Monday morning. My other labors lasted for at least a day! I know one thing I about waited to go to the hospital thinking that like my other labors it would take long for me to dilate but my cervix was beyond ready. It was intense but this stuff def. worked. The midwives asked me what I used and when I told them they said yup it really works soooo just thought I'd share. Of course it doesn't put you in labor it just helps when you get there!
