Only a dr will know if it is complete or not so you need to get in. There is a high risk of infection if it isnt taken care of properly.

They will probably have you come in on Tuesday then.

First of all, at 5 weeks, it's pretty unlikely that you'll need a D&C. I think what everyone is basically doing is trying to make sure that you stop putting this off and go get looked at. If there is still a pregnancy going on in there, you need your birth control taken out .. like yesterday. If you're having a miscarriage, that could mean that your birth control isn't placed right and you could end up back in this same exact situation next month. They're nicely trying to scare you into being a grown up. So.. .be a grown up. Get seen and get this taken care of before it turns into a bigger issue.

Actually noone is trying to scare her. Even sometimes at 5 weeks you may need a D&C. Every person is different. She needs to get checked out so they can make sure everything was passed.
She has already stated that she is calling her doctors office when they open.

My intention wasn't to be rude, but she has been dragging this out for several days and putting it off isn't making the situation better. When someone asks the same question day after day after day ... it can be frustrating.

And you're right about the D&C, but normally at 5 weeks it's basically like a fairly heavy period with some clots. I said it was pretty unlikely and it is. We're almost talking chemical pregnancy territory here. The lining of her uterus barely had time to get thicker... if she was pregnant at all.

I'm sorry but it wasn't my fault. I couldn't get a ride to go no where and my mother was denying that I was up in till last night when she asked I told her bout the gfray stuff and she said I more then likely miscarriage. I tryed to get a ride to go to the hospital but everyone told me it was false.
