If my SO were to cheat, I would consider forgiving him... but if he were to cheat and not be smart enough to want to protect himself and I against STD's and unwanted pregnancies? I don't think I could stand that.

I would not only be hurt that he cheated, but that he was willing to risk STD's and pregnancy with another woman for one night of sex. Wrap it up.

Those to me ARE two separate things, he cheated AND he didn't care enough to protect himself and his family.
