Well you're bound to get something different eventually haha. I mean there's only 2 sexes. All I know is when we had our last daughter everyone said how does Steven feel and I said he doesn't care and they were like well it's his doings anyways lol.

It just depends on who has stronger genes. In our family it's only girls except for BIL could have a girl with his current wife. Has three boys with the same woman and a girl with another.

Maybe women have a part of it. So far in my mothers side, girls were born first. My grammas mom had a girl first, my gramma had a girl first, and my mom had me first, and I have a girl. My great gramma and my gramma also had another girl as the 2nd child. But my mom had a boy 2nd. I'm not onto number 2 yet. Lol.

Quoting Taryn - Anya's mommy:" Okay I tried this once, but a bunch of people. had to get all sarcastic on me, because I wasn't quite ... [snip!] ... else, pregnant with their 4th, all girls. I am not definitely not saying all women, but some. What are your thoughts on this?"

My doc says that it's the frequency of the sex that can often determine the sex of the child. When I concieved my son with my friend he and I hadn't had sex in ages. So he had more Y chromosomes, and when I concieved my daughter me and my husband were screwing like bunnies and therefore there were less Y chromosomes. My doc said that's how it works, but I'm not sure I believe it.

I think conceiving at all has to do with body chemistry and how they "match up". I don't think it has anything to do with sex though.

Yeah I can see that. When TTC I read a lot of stuff about what conditions sperm thrives under, that male zygoats are less likely to attach to women who smoke, etc. etc.

My mom, for example, 6 kids, 4 fathers, she only has 2 boys. My sister (and her husband) have 5 girls. My other sister 2 children, 2 fathers, both girls. I have one of each but they were concieved at different times in my cycle.

My diet had changed but a man's ph can change too. Also I heard the position plays a roll too. I have a friend who did sex positions to getva boy

A friend of mine who is majoring in psychology told me she read in one of her college textbooks that a woman's womb can decide which sperm it will and will not allow. Giving credence to the theory that even though the sperm of a man has pre-determined gender, perhaps certain women's wombs don't allow a certain gendered sperm.
I have been pregnant with three girls, and they didn't all have the same father. So it seems I may not make boys. but who knows.

lol I could've mixed it up, but in all honesty I don't see the point...it's a baby...they're supposed to be loved regardless of sex.
