Why are her cheeks so red?!

DDs cheeks are dark red and really hot. This is the darkest they have ever been. She also has a few spots of red on her arms. She was playing earlier and they were light pink from running but never this bad. Their starting to lighten up now tht shes sleeping but here's a pic

Has she eaten anything new? LO had this happen a few days ago. No fever or anything, but it was a super allergic reaction to something she ate at MIL's. Eventually the benedry took away the redness, but then her face got really dry and flakey afterwards.

Check her temp! SHe might be running a fever. My son was running 103.8 and thats what stood out the most! Capillaries on his cheeks had also burst so he had little red dots on them.

I'm checking her temp now. They were bright red! Their still pretty pink like in the picture

Temp was 95.7

yikes! Id call her doctor...

Does she have sniffles or any kind of cold symptoms??

my boys both get red cheeks when they start getting sick... thats our 1st hint... as soon as we notice the cheeks, they come out with symptoms by that night or next day...

my cousin was like this as a baby, hes 24 now and still gets rosey cheeks when hes sick... its soooo cute lol

Dry skin?
DD has red cheeks when I dont put enough lotion on her after a bath in the winter. So every day she gets 2 regular baby lotions and before bed shell get eucirin (sp?) on her cheeks.
