Omfg.

I've had enough of my kids not listening to me. Nothing I do works and I mean nothing. What the smurf do you do to get your kids to listen? I've tried time outs, I've tried spanking them, I've tried telling them no, I've even raised my voice to them and NOTHING works. I swear is there a kiddie boot camp?  

I find myself telling him he'll get something taken away and it always works. I feel bad that I do it too often though.

Duct tape. It fixes everything.


Kidding. I don't have the magic answer. DD can be a monster child sometimes too.

My life story with my LO. He doesn't listen to me but he'll listen if a guy tells him what to do. I feel like he has no regard for female authority.

They listen to their father but he hasn't been home much this week because he has been working during the day and then at night time he's asleep. I just don't know how much more of them not listening I can take. I put them in their room as as "time out" type of thing with a baby gate and they broke out of the gate.

Ugh! I feel your pain so much! My kids are being the exact same way. Nothing phases them and only my husband can reason with them! I wish you luck momma and if you ever need to talk just pm me!!

The only and I mean ONLY thing that works for Brooklyn is taking away privileges... such as playing with her friends, dessert, TV, her leap pad. That smurf snaps her ass back in shape. When I do it I make it count... she gets three warnings and if she goes for four she gets loses something for a week. If she is a little smurf again that day she looses something else for a week.

TV and dessert work the best... I swear you'd think she is going to die   lol

I have a brooklyn, too. Lmao. Brooklyn's can be smurfs! I should of named her something else.  

I started my son on discipline charts just gogle the charts basicaly he had to bring me a happy face every day and if he had all smiley face we did anything he wanted such as bowling,pizza, park, buy a toy it was his choice bc he earned it he's 3.5 and its working wonders.

This is what happened to me too! My SO can get carter to listen perfectly, but when it comes to me he doesn't listen for smurf. So I started being more like SO with him. Like instead of telling him to goto the corner I put him there myself. He listens to me a lot better when I talk to him and discipline the way daddy does. And if that doesn't work I threaten him with 'I'm gonna tell daddy if you don't stop being a mean boy to mommy'  

it's the tone of voice. A man has a deep voice and when they get mad it gets deeper, females when we get mad it gets higher so kids tone it out, next try to remain calm and make your voice deeper and see how that works.
