Fruit snacks?

How old was your child when you gave them? LB is 20 months and I have yet to give him any. I'm still scared.

a year, and she still eats them all the time, I just buy the really soft ones, and watch her while she eats them.

Around 12 months
He's almost 2 and can eat a whole box a day if i let him lol

Dex is 11 months and eats the organic baby ones.

I think at about a year... The Welches fruit snacks are really soft, and taste sooo good. lol

Sometime around a year, I think. The first time they got them, I'd break them in half and give them one by one (both of my LOs are full-fist eaters, so they tend to shove everything in that they can fit when they're first eating real food) until they got the hang of it and I felt more comfortable with it.

lol, we actually dont like the welches ones, they are a little too chewy for munckin, and she usually spits them out, at least thats the berry and cherry ones they have around here.

My son is 19mo and we just started giving them to him. I bite them in half and only give him half, he does fine with them.

Really?!.. I love em'. I feel like they pretty much dissolve they are so soft. haha

Around a year I started with little pieces of fruit leather. He's two now and eats fruit snacks like a champ - one of his favorite treeats.

My son is 13 months and I give him raisins.. So I imagin fruit snack are ok..

Christopher didn't begin eating fruit snacks until I took him off of baby food at 14 months. He struggled even then and I had to bite them in half for him. I just switched to Fruit Leathers from Sprouts since they're healthier for him AND easier to chew...
