Stockings

What did you do for stocking stuffers this year? And how much do you generally spend per stocking?

I filled my three kids and my husbands stocking and it cost me about 150 bucks. I feel like that was way too much. But in reality I got them each a package of fun socks, two smallish toys and filled the rest with candies. My youngest is only 8 months old so he gots socks, bibs, teethers, new pacifiers, and a soft snuggly toy.

The kids each got a book, too to be hidden in the tree.

I just put up stockings but I don't really put anything in them. Haha. Nothing really fits.

We probably spent $200 on stockings for our two kids. We went to a toy store called The Learning Place. They have the neatest little toys. We got them all sorts of little toys that aren't junky and are unusual.

I usually try to not spend more than $20 ea. My mom adds a lot of stuff to them as well. It's just little inexpensive things like coloring books and accessories. Slinkies, rubics cubes, bath toys, candies.. That type of thing. DH gets coal.

No fun. Our stockings are huge. About 1 1/2 feet long and 8 inches wide. I always have to find random crap to take up room in them

I spent 40 on all 4 stockings.

I got tooth brushes in purses, lip glosses and chapsticks, candy but not much, small toys, crayons and coloring books, bubble bath (my girls) and my husband Epsom salt, tooth brushes, candy, Cologne samples (I'm a Chester cheater pumpkin eater) LOL miscellaneous stuff

Haven't done anything for stockings yet (hopefully tomorrow) but I really don't want to spend more than $40 on both DH's and LB's stockings.

I got him a robot waterbottle ($1.00), jump rope, toy story squinkies, bandaids, an m&m candy cane, a loofa. I think that's it. Probably more though. I was determined to keep it pretty candy and junk free this year. He's eaten nothing but candy and cookies for the past week, he doesn't need his own stash lol

I filled all three of my boys stockings with
- fruit snacks
-fruit roll ups
- a little jar of peanuts each
- raisins
- cereal bars
- juice boxes
- candy canes
- hot wheels

We don't put much in their stockings, since I think it's more fun to have the "real" gifts wrapped and under the tree. We reserve stockings for candy/goodies and more practical stuff that they'd get anytime they needed it throughout the year (like hair ties, toothbrush, cologne for DH, etc.), but just happen to need at Christmas.

I'm lame with stockings. We have plain ones for the girls. DH and I don't have stockings.

The stocking would fit maybe some socks, a coloring book, crayons and a tooth brush...just small things.

I haven't added up everything, but I got a little bit of candy(kinds that my husband and I like as well lol), glow sticks, 2 rev n go cars, a minnie mouse toothbrush set(comes with a cup and toothbrush holder), bath crayons, crayola bath poof that changes colors, bath fizzies...umm I think that's it. Was going to put bubble bath in there but I just let her pick that out while shopping yesterday.

She just turned 2 at the beginning of Nov

I usually do 4foot long stockings LOL so it takes a ton of stuff. LOL
I opted out of the sticking thus yr and did bath baskets and spend about 60 on each basket.

I did bath toys nail Polish shampoo hair stuff etc.....

My mom is doing the socks as she informed me earlier today. Lol
