Worried about LOs weight

So he is 16 months old and 21 pounds. He has been 22 pounds since he was 12 months so he hasn't gained anything. (he lost weight after being sick four times in a row) I haven't had a check up because we lost our insurance but we are getting it back in two weeks so he will be getting an appointment then. He does eat a lot when he is up to it and he runs around a lot but he is just so skinny. You can see his ribs and all the bumps on his spinal cord and he is bony. The only place he seems to have some chunk is on his legs . I just don't know if I should worry or not. I mean the last appointment we brought him to was yesterday so that the doc could do lab work because of him being sick but she didn't say anything.

How much does he eat? what does he eat? how much of each food group does he eat a day?

He out-weighs my LO at that age. My LO didnt hit 20 lbs til he was 18 months old and is now only 29lbs at 3.

My daughter was like that for a while. To me if he eats good, plays and poops your good to go!  

How tall is your lo?? My dd whos also 16 months weighs 24 pds && is 32 inchs. I was told @ her previous dr appt shes just about right. And she eats like a bird.

Ok. He was born ten pounds so I honestly expected him to weigh more by this point. I am just one of those nervous wreck mamas and he is tall. Like everyone thinks he is 2 because of his height.

His last appointment (at twelve months) he was 35.5 inches. He has grown a LOT since then. He is prob about 38 inches now. Makes me wanna go mark up the wall and see!

How tall is he? He must likely went through a growth spurt and dent need to gain any weight. My LO is 2 years and weights 22 lbs people always say she looks skinny but I also feed her healthy and she is at a normal weight for her height.

What percentile was he in and how much has he grown since his last visit?

I would && you probably have nothing to worry about!!
Btw my dd was a big baby too 9lbs 5oz when she was born.

My DD was 8lbs 8oz and 20lbs at 4 months old. LOL

She is now 4 and eats more then my 10 yr old who eats a lot. Anyways she is only 28lbs now so 8 lbs in 4 yrs. And the Dr says she is fine. I wouldn't worry too mu h

My DD stayed 21 pounds from 12 months to 20 months. My doctor referred us to a pedi who wanted me to put her on a high calorie diet but she was pretty much already eating what she wanted me to feed her and at 26 months she is still only 22 pounds.

Once they are upright and running around growth really slows down.
