Here you can call the ER and they will tell you if you should bother or not. We also have a 24 hour nurseline. I would call one of those. I hate wasting my time. When the answer is almost always they're fine, go home.

I would rather waste my time and be told to go home rather than have something seriously wrong and have done nothing about it

You said he cut his throat, so why would his mouth be bleeding and why would it be enough for him to swallow and throw up. Yeah, doesnt add up. I would be taking my child in if they threw up blood.

I normally say dont go to the ER unless its serious. But this I would go to an urgent care or ER. Just because he is having internal bleeding

as far as I know, the reason you'd throw up blood is because there's too much in your stomach... meaning he's bleeding internally somewhere... enough to make his body try to get it out of his stomach and throw it up.

I could be wrong, that's just what my ex boyfriend that was looking into the medical field told me...
