Out growing diapers but not ready to PT.

posted 21st Dec
My LO is 10 months, shes in fives..i know people with TWO year olds in fives.. Everyone says since my LO has gotten the hang of walking (Started last month) That she will slim down and she will stay in fives.. but ive hurd this about EVERY diaper size.. So my question is, for you moms with BIG little kids.. what did you do when you ran out of diapers? They only go up to six.. my fear is she will be in and out of sixs a little after shes a year and may not be ready for the potty yet.. do i just use pull ups? I really wanted pull ups to be a training aid.. not a diaper.. Advice and tips welcome. (PS. i really had no plan to train till after she was two..IF i can help it..)

My first was in 4's from the time he was 9 months old to 2 years old. He did slim down as soon as he started walking and climbing, so there is truth to that. I wouldn't worry about it until she actually bumps up to 6 and showing no signs of being ready to PT.

You can use goodnites or whatever they are called. But my daughter was in 4s from like 10 months til potty training at 27 months.

my oldest was a size 5 around 8 months old and then by the time he was PT a month before he turned 3, he was wearing a 6. i wouldn't worry about it! the 5's and 6's last for quite awhile!

No problem, she might have been in 3's longer I cant really remember but she didn't go up more than one size in that time.

There is always a way   even if you have to use cloth, lol.

My 8 month old is in a size 5 right now, and has been for a while now. I'm not really too worried about it. I think they make size 7 too.

My son is in 4's or 5's now at 10 months and with cloth he still has tons of room, I am pretty certain they make a bigger size than the one size ones that we have but I haven't looked into it yet.

DS just got into size 6 and he will be a year in a week. I'm doubtful he will be ready to PT any time soon. Just hoping he will slow down with growing for a little while!
