That doesn't really matter. My almost 4 year old reached for me and said momma when he was 4 months old and he has, at some point, called my grandmother "momma". he was old enough that he caught himself and said "oh, i meant nana"... but my point is... kids get confused when they're excited or even just because they're young and "slips" happen, my grandmother ONLY keeps him while im in school so it's not because he was with her often or anything... it's not a big deal.

Seriously, you should reread what you wrote to me. I know you are proud of your kid but you make it sound like my kid isn't smart. None of that stuff has any bearing on your child's intelligence anyway. I have 3 kids they are all very very different but, all very intelligent.

I am in no way trying to offend anyone..infact saying that reaching mild stones early isnt a sign of intelligence is implying that my kid isnt smart.. but my undies arnt in a knot over it.. i was curious as to how one figures that early mildstones is not some form of smarts at all.. If anythng, by highlighting her early stones was just to clarifiy the situation.. not make anyone feel any less about themselves or children..

When you quote someone you're responding TO them. You're conversing with them and it is completely logical that one would 'assume' anything in that reply is directed at them, their children, their SO, their situation, etc.
