For a child to spit up yellowish fluid a couple of hours after eating sweet potatoes? He seems fine, behaving well, and only cried when he was tired so I'm not getting the impression that it's stomach bile. It's not projectile, but it is frequent and at one point about a tablespoon or more of spit up. He has reflux (which usually explains the spit up), and sometimes (even though he receives medicine twice a day) the situation can get pretty yucky -- so I'm not sure if it's coincidence or not. I'm going to call the nurse line just in case, but I was wondering if this is common after sweet potato and milk consumption?
