Don't feel bad, we spent less than 50.00 total - people go way overboard, it's ridiculous.

You don't try to keep their gifts even? Do they not get upset by one getting more than the other?

I spent probably $300 on my son and about $50 for my nieces cause they are spoiled

We did. $25 toy and an outfit for each (nor got jammies, too, since her clothes are cheaper)

I agree. I will never understand spending SO much money for Christmas gifts. Especially toys. My kids will get a new toy and won't want anything to do with it 2 weeks later.

Exactly! I spend more on a fun dinner that we don't get the rest of the year, a couple movies to watch, a gingerbread house we will be putting together, a couple board games to play together.....

Pattons the same way, lol. He'll forget about it in less than a month. That's why he only got a few toys. the rest is stuff he can wear / use (boots, hat, etc).

I'm so glad my 'rents decided to do clothes this year. We are going to wait until the spring stuff comes out before we go shopping for them though. We got them a huge backyard toy, that's where majority of the money went. Other than that, Isaiah got a few things from Jack and the Neverland Pirates and Sera got some Dora items. Luckily, I can save money during Christmas since the grandparents and other family members shower them with toys.

For both kids combined, including stocking stuffers....about $300. We did not go crazy this year like we did last year (last year I think we spent a grand on the kids >.<)

I spent about $150-175 on my husband, and from what I know he spend about the same on me (I know I'm getting a Kindle fire and some new boots).

They're 2, 1, and 7 weeks old.. So, nope, they don't get upset over the dollar amount.

I didn't mean dollar amount, i mean the number of gifts to open. But since they're so young they probably dont notice it.
