My work has a back up day care and in 2 weeks, they are having a potty training camp. DD will be 3 on Jan 4th and has really been disinterested in potty training, though she understands and can handle the process.

Would you sign your child up if they were ready, in your opinion, to potty train? The fee is small.

What does a boot camp for PT involve?

hell yeah! sign me up my DS is 3 and he will sit on the potty but will never pee or poop in the toilet

its not boot camp, but it involves... potty training.

I would do it. My son just turned 3 today and he's still in diapers.

Hell yeah. I did something similar. His old babysitter offered to take him for a week to PT my 3 year old. He was pee-trained in 3 days.

I don't know what their methods are to be honest. I didn't think to ask. I wonder if is a peer learning thing. All the kids in DDs day care in her age bracket are pt'd   Day care pt'd them with assistance from the parents but DD wasn't having it.

It's most likely a peer learning thing. That's how DS's babysitter said he learned, by watching the other boys at her daycare. That's the fastest way children learn, by watching other kids.

Really? Boot camp? It seems a very harsh way to potty train. Is it a series of drills?
Im really not sold on the boot camp style, I also think this post gave me/ my computer a virus.
