breast feeding, period, pregnancy tests...Idunno

I was supposed to get my period on Tuesday (the first day of my last cycle was 11/21)...but I suppose I am three days late. I tested on Weds and it was negative. I ovulated on 12/6 (I am basing this solely on the pain), and I had unprotected sex last Friday, two Mondays ago and Sunday the 2nd.

Still no period, but I am now wondering if it is possible that the fact that I am still breast feeding is impacting my cycle.

Is it possible that a pregnancy test won't show up positive until a few daya after your missed period? What if you ovulate late that month.

I want to stop wasting my time and money on pregnancy tests but I have no idea why my period is late (the man i am seeing is supposedly fixed, but I have reason to believe he is lying about that.)

Breast feeding can cause inconsistent cycles. Unless you've had it for several months on the button I wouldn't solely count on that. The sex on the 2nd would probably be your most likely to get you pregnant if you did ovulate on the 6th but there is not telling. I would wait another week or so and test again.

I'd suggest some form of birth control if you don't think your guy is fixed and you don't want to get pregnant again.
