tests.

What are a couple of really good pregnancy tests? If I am pregnant I will only be 3 weeks and we can't afford too much right now. Any homemade ones that anyone has done that works really well?

I would just wait a little while longer if money's tight.

Wait until you miss your period instead of wasting tests if you don't have the money. Just my opinion though  As for home made tests, I have never heard of any.

You can get tests at the dollar store that work just fine...but I would wait until you've actually missed your period if money is an issue.

No cheap ones are gonna work at 3 weeks   if u can't afford a first response then u need to wait until at least 4-5 weeks. And no u can't make a homemade one.

I got mine from Dollar General for $1 and it came back positive. I had only been two days late when I took it. My sister use the same with each pregnancies and it would come back positive before the ones at the healthy department. Cheap and good in my book,

You could go to your local health department or planned parenthood, they should do one for free.

I use the dollar ones from DG and they DO work, but not for early testing, you need to wait until you are due or late for you period with them. I took two at 3 weeks, totally looked negative. I took another the day I was due and it was a very light positive.

That would probably depend on the person. My positive with my second (a week before my period was due) was darker on my dollar store test than on the first response! Lol.

With my last pregnancy I took a dollar tree test 5 days before my missed period and got a very faint positive!

For some messed up reason, every time I shell out money for a first response or something, it goes wrong. The control line does not show up, no lines show up - then I had like 3 over the years that came out negative and then 20 minutes later I looked again and it was positive - and I was pregnant, late for my period.
