I was pregnant as a senior in high school and got zero special treatment. Why should they treat me any differently because I made the choice to get pregnant and stay pregnant?

I don't have any boots.. I have been trying to find cheap ones for the weather but no luck.. and i have a medical history of falling. Flights of stairs, ice, you name it. Thats why I am one big fall risk.. All results in broken bones.

The way you posted originally, and then some of your subsequent responses DO come across as bratty. Being poor and homeless does not exempt you from brattiness, either. It's no one's responsibility but your own to make sure you get into the building safely. If you try not to go outside when the weather is like that, why didn't you just stay home?

I could see if maybe you were 9 months and ready to pop and had a hard time walking that someone would be a little concerned about your safety but you not due till march so that makes you like 6 months or so???? I didnt even really have a belly till 7 months. I dont mean to sound like a bitch but i see 90 year old with walkers walking on snow and ice without help....I highly doubt anyone would think twice about walking right past you. Todays my due date and we got some slippery slushy crap going on outside and I walked across two parking lots to get to my non stress test no one helped me---im lucky if people hold the door open once in awhile.

Yep!! Exactly why I'm pretty much turning asocial. I don't like people. Society sucks. Lol

Seriously I went through a whole South Dakota winter during my pregnancy (mind you, that winter we got 304" of snow). I even scraped my own windshield every day! And I shoveled my car out of my driveway if I had to leave my apartment before the landlords got to it! Not a big smurfing deal!!

And really..Goodwill, Salvation Army for boots. Hell I got a pair of nice ones from Walmart for $10!

Wtf?! A medical history of falling? Lmao! Do you black out and fall or are you just stupid and don't pay attention? Sounds like the latter.

Smurrrrf. I didn't know we could ask for escorts when there's ice in the parking lots. I had to walk my happy pregnant ass through many a parking lots unescorted in the wintertime. And I was due in March of this year, so I was the same size this time last year that you are now. And you being poor and homeless has nothing to do with your snotty, self entitlement attitude that you've got going on. Clearly being without money and a place to live did NOTHING for your attitude. Awesome for you.

So you're just clumsy, and don't have a valid medical reason to state that you're a fall risk. Goodwill, heck even WALMART has boots fairly cheap.
