I've been watching Nightmare Before Christmas with both of my girls since they were born! My oldest DD absolutely loves it!

The Dark Crystal is amaaaaaaaaaazing.

My 1 year old and 2 1/2 year old love that movie. How the hell could it be inappropriate.

lol.... I think it's fine.

Now I will say... I took my 4.5 year old to see Frankenweenie (another Tim Burton) and was horrified... They electrocuted a dog back to life... now my son asks when he hears of something/someone dying if we can bring them back  

My kids loved it at like 2. LOL

And here I posted on fb yesterday I wad watching Jurassic park with my 4 yr old and everyone was like awesome movie, I wish my kids would watch it. Lol

Totally unrelated, but when I learned that they use infant foreskin in cosmetic antiwrinkle injections & creams - that is the FIRST thing I thought of - the Dark Crystal & the way the Skesis suck the essence out of the podlings to stay young.  

Depends on the kid. Some kids are super sensitive and it would probably scare them. Labyrinth scared the absolute smurf out of me when I was a kid. But I loved Nightmare Before Christmas.
My niece has love NBC since she was like 2. She's almost 5 now. But she calls it Jack Skellington.

I love that movie and have for many years, especially as a child.
