34wks, 3dys Pre-term Labor Story....(tmi)

Soooo its Wed the 19 and I wasnt doing anything but watching my kids, Aerianna who is 1, J.R who is 3, and Niyah who is 6: was also texting my husband and friend SadeLove from BG... I got up to use the bathroom and a whole bunch of blood was in the toilet, I texted my husband and he told me to call L&D. I did and she told me to come in....
So I came in and they did their regular test and I had an ultrasound, The Dr checked me and I was not dialated... 5 min or so later I started having non stop contractions like 8mins apart...(by the way the Dr. said he didnt see any bleeding during my exam) since my contractions kept coming they decided to keep me and moved me to a Labor & Delivery room..
The Dr checked me again and I was 1cm 40% effaced (within a hour) they monitored me, then I had another ultrasound.. they said it looked like my placenta was about to abrupt? within 15-20 mins my contractions started coming in at 2mins... they said they saw something ( I forgot) and might have to have an emergency C-section.
Things eventually calmed down and my contractions went back to 10-15mins... went to sleep woke back up at 4am and just waited. I had another ultrasound around 11am and they said everything looked ok...soon after my contractions started coming back and were getting very intense:/ The Dr came in and told me that they were stopping my labor...
They gave me a shot for my baby girl lungs, antibiotics, and a med called Magnesium sulfate to stop labor... Im still on it at the moment. && its been helping... Im hoping that I get to go home tomorrow, I miss my kids ...

I hope baby girl stays in a little while longer, but if she is born now, she will most likely be fine, probably have to spend a couple weeks in the NICU, and ill tell you those steroids are miracles for their lungs, but if you are still on the mag sulfate, which I pity you, that stuff is the devil , but if you are still on it, you probably won't go home tomorrow, you have to be weaned off of it. It only takes a couple hours to wean you off of it. I am thinking if everything is okay, you could be home by Saturday. I will keep you and baby girl in my thoughts and prayers!

I was in the hospital on Mag for 5 days for PTL at 28wks. I ended up having to be induced at 40wks. The Mag sucks I hope you get through it ok and you and baby are ok!

My youngest was born at 34 weeks, they didn't have time to give me the steroid shots and she still came breathing on her own. She stayed in the NICU for 2 weeks to learn to eat and gain weight.
I hope your angel stays in longer, but have no fear that she should be ok if she decides to come early  

Good luck mama!! I had placenta abruption. Thats nothing to mess around with. Take it easy. You and your little ne will be just fine!!

I'm glad you and LO are okay. Take it easy, and rest. Fingers crossed that LO bakes a little bit longer.
