Yea Buspar (Busperone) takes awhile to build up! But that's great!

That was short lived. I've had to triple my daily dose and all it does is make my stomach cramp. Guess I'll have to try something different.

Yeah, its the generic so buspirone. I asked the doc 1st though, went from 10mg a day to 30mg a day.

Ah I see! Yeah 30 a day is a good dose. But if its causing you stomach issues then its not the medication for you. I can't remember, can you refresh my memory, are you on another med?

Have they asked you to go on like Lexapro or Zoloft or something like that

Not yet. I will be telling my doc on Monday if these things are still going on though so he might mention them then. I will update though whatever happens

Also did they tell you with Buspar you aren't supposed to eat grapefruits?

I read it in the paper that came with the pills. It's cool though because I'm not a big fan of grapefruits anyway lol.

Just updating yet again.
Went from 5mg 2x daily Buspar to 15mg 2x daily and it made me sick. I was doubling over in pain from my upper stomach area. So weird. It wasn't helping my anxiety at all. I told the doc about it and he said to take 10mg 3x daily and it still wasn't helping. He told me if in a week it wasn't doing anything to call back so I did.
Now I am on Zoloft 25mg daily. Started it 4 days ago and maybe its the placebo effect but I feel better already. I know it can take 2 weeks or so to really start helping so I'll update then as well just encase it helps anyone hearing my struggle to get well
