Oh lordy, so I made calzones and I have NO CLUE what to make with it. My husband pretty much doesn't eat salads or any type of veggies except for potatoes and corn. Last time I made calzones, we were still hungry because I didn't make a side.

What do yall think about my suggestions?

Bread Sticks.

Calzones are like pizzas and potatoes and corn with pizza sounds nasty. I'd definitely go with bread sticks.

I googled calzones and they look gooood. I've never had one before. If he likes potatoes I would just cut some fries.

And what do you mean doesn't like salads? Are you telling me no tabbouleh? No fatoush? I can't believe it!

I voted other because that is a very unhealthy and starch heavy meal. Yikes. He won't eat vegetables? Is he 5?

I'd have salad. Does he like Caesar salad with lots of cheese, bacon bits and really good dressing (like Rene's)?

I can't picture the sides you are suggesting going well (for my tastes).

Or you could make more calzones, perhaps put some vegetables in some of them to make the meal feel a little more rounded  .

Well Pizza hut says it's a pizza folded in half

But yeah, I can see where people would think it's a lot of bread.

He only eats tabouleh, and sometimes rarely, he's honestly a weird one lol

He prefers processed crap over a homemade meal anyday. Batata sounds good =) I just hate cutting them up -__- Yes I am lazy haha.

That is such a heavy meal on it's own. When I make them, we have a Caesar Salad on the side.

Noooo lol, he pretty much hates vegetables. Something his mom did when he was younger haha. I want to make more calzones but if I put veggies he would seriously pick them out.

Girl I am with you lol. My hubby looooves batata and I was making them like every two days for him to take with lunch. I got so tired of cutting them and I am honestly like the clumsiest person in the world that my fingers were all chopped up. I got happy when we ran out and he was too lazy to go to the store and buy more.

I agree with you but we were both unfilled when I made them last time. He won't eat a salad

Maybe wings on the side? Idk lol. It is such an odd thing to eat a side with lol. Usually I can only eat half a calzone because they fill me up lol. If I were to have a side with it, it would be salad but that is off limits lol.
