How long did it take?

To get your childs disablity through? After first appointment with their disability doctors?

Alyssah went today to a shrink for some testing & the Dr. Said she was severe adhd/add.

And also has behavior problems & referred me to a book called 1-2-3 magic. Has anyone read this book?

Im not really sure what the difference actually is. They are rulleing her adhd & add as a disibilty.

Im waiting on when they tell us we got the disabilty or if she has to do more testing

Oh ok, well if a doctor does a test and diagnoses the child, then that's it right? After the proper testing was done on my son and his doctor gave us the results, I then was instructed on what to do next, like a plan to take care of the problem. During that time I got in touch with Social Security for SSI and they in turn got in contact with his doctors and everything.............of course that took FOREVER. I'm not sure if that was of any help lol but hey, there's my story! lol
