Working out?

posted 20th Dec
Going to the gym isn't an option. And I don't have any work out videos.

What is a good work out routine for at home? Preferably something that doesn't take more than 45 minutes, and won't give me huge biceps or something.   I have 30lbs to lose.

If you have the ability to download apps on your phone, my SO & I actually download really quick workout routines. They're meant to work you very quickly & efficiently, though the results aren't DRAMATIC in the beginning, it helps. There are ab, bicep, leg workout apps & yoga. The yoga ones are pretty difficult depending on the level of difficulty. & there are also youtube videos, I believe, that can help. But to lose weight without gaining too much muscle, running is a great option.

Not an option, either. I don't have the extra cash and my toddler sure as heck isn't going to run with me.

I don't have a smart phone.

I wish I had the money/space for a treadmill, that would solve my problem.

Youtube videos may be a good choice then. Or sometimes, you can even google workout routines based on your goal weight loss & your level of difficulty & it can give you a detailed list of what you can do from home & possibly give you dieting options to further the affects of the workouts.

Can you go walking? I walked my neighborhood doing 1-2 miles a day then I'd finish off in my house on a exercise ball (that comes with a sheet of different exercises to work different parts of your body) and I lost 40 lbs in less than 6 months in doing this (as well as a low cal diet).

I could, but realistically, right now, I don't see it happening. I'd have to take both kids along.
