Have you directed him to the lists on nameberry? They have a lot of lists like "If you like Leah, you may like..." and suggest similar names. That might be something that would help.

anastasia is a great name   we were going to use athena if this one would of been a girl

My SO and i had the same issue.. so i said simple as this, I'M the one carrying the baby, I will be the one giving birth, and I will be the one raising the baby & paying expenses.... THIS is the name I want and you have no say since you won't agree to anything. lol it shut him up really fast... (that's how simple it was for a girl name) a boy name however.....good god...ugh he wanted to name him peyton after the fb player. and kept throwing out sports names and names off of southpark. i told him hell no. we went threw pages and pages of names and narrowed it down to a few that we agree on. lol. ugh, men! why can't we be the ones to name the kiddies since we carry and birth them?! lol i hope you're able to come to an agreement.. you can always say hey this is the name i want & then let it sink in for a week or two, only calling her that name and either he will say hell no lets find a diff name or he will agree to it ;)

thank you i like names that are out of the box i have an alice because my grandma made me feel really bad that none of the kids or grandkids were using family names so she smu*f her hself when i names my 2nd dd after her i left the boy name up to dh :~/ so he is going to have a normal name lol
