when would I Ov. after gettting off the depo shot?

Its been 3 months since my last shot. I was due to get my 3rd shot last week. I haven't had a period since my first shot, so I don't know when to expect Af. DF and I have been having unprotected sex...but I don't know when I'm ovalate. :/ and we are TTC. How long did it take for you to get a period/ O after the depo?

Get some OPKS.. You can order them cheap on saveontests.com.

Test twice a day every day, Look for Egg white type cervical mucus (sign that you are about to ovulate)

It took me almost 8 months to get pregnant after I got off the shot and I had only 2 shots as well. My dr told me it can take up to 18 months for everything to go back to "normal."

It took me a year and a half to get my period back. I haf two rounds of it. It can normally take up to a year. Mine was excessive but it also can happen. I wouldnt put a lot on TTC, just have fun. Because if it does take that long you are going to frustrate yourself. Best of luck though!

I had 2 shots as well and didn't get mine in May of this year and I didn't get a period until Oct. 4 and I didn't ovulate until Nov. 11th then got my next period Nov. 28 with random spotting in between. So 5 months before I got one and they are really irregular since. I could take you longer or less time but most people say it take longer.

Yeah they are pricey in stores.. The one's i ordered.. I got 50 opks and 50 hpts for $34

Some walmarts have the 88cent ovulation tests and pregnancy test. Those are the ones I used the last time and they worked will and my positive OPK was very clear to read

I seen the preg test for .88 but not the OPKs. How do you use those kinds or preg tests btw? I've only used the equate and answer kind....

You have to bee in a cup and it comes with a dropper and you just put a few drops on the test, it a cassette style test. They OPKs are the same way and they are in the pink box and the pregnancy tests are the purple box.
