i think anyone who does it on their own without talking to their doctor/midwife about it is a smurfing idiot.

sorry but first pregnancies tend to go overdue, regardless. i'm a week overdue on saturday and NOTHING has helped so i sure as hell am not risking castor oil.

Seriously? We have 9 days left. Just wait it out.

I took castor oil, the first time it did nothing at all. No smurfs, no nausea, nothing. A few days later I tried again. Still no side effects, but I did go into labor later that night. I don't think it was the oil though, I think it was just time. I wouldn't recommend it.
