OP if you insist on using it for your little girl, she will go farther with it being spelled correctly.

Really? I'm always told the same thing, my son looks nothing like me, but I don't see how they could miss it with you two.

My 5 year old daughter's name is Emerson Jenai ( jah-nay) and I call her Emmy too. I was well aware it was a boys name when i picked it. It would have been her name had she been a boy or a girl.. I just loved it that much. It's a great name, everyone loves it.

If the middle name means something to you i wouldn't change it despite what others may say.. i think names with meaning behind them are the best. The first name is very cute as well, just not the spelling lol it looks odd.

It's not a ” different” girl name, it's a boy name.....

It wouldn't be too bad if it werent for the y. Just spell it right. Mae is cute with it
