Before I was pregnant with my first I was on xanax for panic attacks. When I found out I was pregnant I trashed htem immediately. I had times where it was extrememly rough dealing with them. I eventually found out I could "talk myself out of them." Mind over matter, I guess. When that didn't work I would take benedryl since its safe during pregnancy. When I would have one it would feel like I couldn't breathe and I couldn't focus and I would become really shakey. After the birth of my daughter they completely went away. I guess since I created another way of dealing with them rather than taking a nerve pill.
Quoting H&Cai:" What are they like for you? After the crying and hyperventilating was over I became really shaky. My ... [snip!] ... attack was really bad because I needed a nap today after sleeping for 6 hours and I usually only need five hours. "
thats how mine normally are. i normally get really tired afterward. if i dont hyperventilate to the point of passing out , ill fall asleep alot of the time soon after.
