I think there's something happening here!

I had my 38 week appt today and afterward, DH and I did a lot of last minuteChristmas shopping and grocery shopping. At my appt, my OB said the baby is definitely ready, I'm two cm and the baby is very low in my vagina. Well when we got home, DH went to pick up the kids from his parents and I finally went to the bathroom and noticed I had some brown blood in my pantiliner, which at first scared me because, well let's face it, I've had one period in over two years! I'm not used to seeing that in my undies! I changed my pantiliner and only a few minutes later, felt damp again so I checked and was spotting reddish blood.

Needless to say, our bags are finally packed. I've never lost my mucus plug or had a bloody show with my previous pregnancies, so I feel like this means something is going to happen very soon. And now I kinda don't wanna go to work tomorrow!

How exciting! I hope it happens soon so you're not exploding with fluids and things at work  

with my 1st i didnt hav any labor signs they induced me b/c of it.. but with Destiny i lost my plug at 36 weeks.. and i'm still fully pregnant lol.. but after you loose it labor can come very fast.. wish you the best of luck

Lol I work at a nursing home, with my last pregnancy I had this dream that my water broke when I was in the bathroom and I opened the door and leaned out into the hall from the toilet and said to the nurse "I need a pullup and a ride!" Haha maybe it was a premonition for this pregnancy!

so whats going on? hows it going Kay? You can't tell me "i think things might be happening" and then just leave me hanging!!!!!

Well I went to work today, I'm still spotting, but no mucus plug or contractions yet. So apparently... Nothing is happening

Bummer! did they say anything about the spotting? I havent had like ANY signs that Kyle is coming anytime soon. Every once in a while (especially after being checked) I lose a little bit of plug, but he is still high up in my belly, I dont have contractions or anything, even the cramps are super mild now. I am hoping that I just spontaneously go into labor, but I am trying not to get my hopes up. Atleast I have a end date in sight... my doc said she'll do a NST the day after christmas and we can talk about induction that day... not sure if that means she will induce me that day or just talk, but I'm trying to keep that in mind when I start getting down.
