those of you who co sleep

What age did you stop at and why? Also, did you say the whole night or just until he/she was asleep?

about 3 months.
cause I was going to be getting a job and he needed to go to sleep on his own without somebody having to hold him.

I stopped around 5 months.

He would sleep with me the whole night.

I quit because I was overtired one morning and fell back to sleep while he was waking up and he crawled off the bed. Scared the hell out of me.

We co slept initially until he was 5 months or so. Now we will put him to sleep in his bed then whenever he wakes up he will come into bed with us and he's almost a year. I don't see us stopping that any time soon either.

3-4 yrs old, depending on the kid. They all moved out on their own.

We still haven't really stopped, she'll be 5 on Friday.

She got her own room and big girl bed and stuff just before 3, because I moved into a 2 bdrm apartment. But she spends most nights in my bed.

DD is 17mo and we're trying to stop now. Only because our bed is too small.

I co-slept with my daughter until she was about 11 months. I had a double bed and liked to have grown up time with my boyfriend after she went to sleep lol. That being said, she would still come into bed with me when she woke up in the morning. Sometimes she'd fall back to sleep, sometimes not. She stopped this year at 5.

My son is 3 1/2 months and I have no plans to stop any time soon.

I stopped by 6 months with both, because it just worked out pretty naturally for us that way. They tended to sleep better without my boobs right there for them to have free access to.  

Dd was 3 Ds1 was 5 months. They chose when they wanted to sleep in their own bed. Ds2 will have the same option.

about 2 when we started trying to have her sleep on her own.

DD is 3. She was sleeping in her crib just fine but now that shes in a big girl bed I have to lay with her until she falls alseep. She seems to be waking up a lot at night.If I stay all night with her it makes no difference either.

We co-slept full time until she was 4 years old, but she had a bed and bedroom for naps.

We co-slept part time from 4-6 years old, because she spent 3 nights a week at my ex's house.

Also IMPORTANT please. How do you get your children to sleep other places? I dont want to always be home at night =(.

If I were to go out late, LO would just sleep with his daddy.
