doctor said there is something in with my baby

im really worried im am 9 weeks pregnant with my third child and i returned a call from the hospital and they told my that there was something in with my baby they said it was determined that it was nothing harmful but they want me to go in for a second ultrasound on jan 8th really worried what else could it be?

Like what? U didn't ask what it was :S

Maybe a cyst. I had one and it went away on its own.

wait, something else is sharing your uterus with the baby? You didn't ask them what it is?

U didnt ask?! Seems like that would have been a good idea. Maybe u have a bleed and they can see the blood in ur uterus?

My guess is a cyst...but I'd definitely be calling and getting more info from them well before that appt!

I did ask them and they were not sure so i asked for someone for a second oppinon and someone callled me back and they said it was nothing harmful but they think it is a sac that did not develop they have to see if it goes away and if it does not i have to have a specialist look at it to make sure it does not effect the babies growth. this is what they told me i have never had this issue though so this is new to me. they said there was no fetus in the sac so we shall see, the baby is fine they said .

Sounds like maybe a sub chorionic hematoma maybe? There fairly common... It's basically a blood clot that forms during implantation but heals usually by 20 weeks. I had one this pregnancy and they weren't sure at first if it was another twin that didn't make it or a hematoma. Good luck sweetie <3

MAKE MAKE MAKE (lemme say this one more time) MAKE them watch you your WHOLE preg for vasa previa. If you do have a vanishing twin that is what caused mine and it is deadly to the baby if you go into labor.
