impatiently waiting

Im 13.3 weeks today!! & Im so impatient to find out of the gender of this baby.. lol! I have a son who will be 2 in March. I got my boy now I kinda want a girl this time.. but I also want to give him a brother.. Ugh! I just want to know   Plus me & bd has decided to wait to come up with a name till after we find out the gender! My doctors office does 18+ weeks.. I will be 18 weeks on Jan. 20th. So hopefully I should be able to find out next month  

I'm at 16 weeks & I want a little girl. My doc office doesn't do them until 20 weeks so I'm going to try to convince them to do it sooner.

I'm only 8 weeks, but I can't wait until my next ultrasound. I love watching this little one grow!  

I honestly am not too worried about it. I mean, I've still got a little more than 5 months until the baby is due so I've got plenty of time to come up with names & buy things that are gender appropriate. In the meantime, my SO & I have been buying neutral things & playing around with names for both genders. As we are both anticipating the reveal of the gender, we just want a healthy baby brother or sister for his little girl.

I dont have a big preference either!!   I knew with my first I wanted a boy.. Have always wanted a boy since I was lil! I used to not want a girl and now I kinda do to paint her nails,bows, & pink stuff! But im not going to be dissapointed if its another boy.. I would love to have 2 boys!! & Yes ALL that matter is its a healthy baby! My son was born 8 weeks early..my biggest worry right now is getting this one to term. Its just driving me crazy whats in there? I want to buy stuff & come up with a name!! lol It probably sucked to be prego before ultrasounds lol

Oh my SO got to name his daughter with his ex (Allyson Merrie Thomas- Merrie is a family name on his side) so I told him that this child's name is ALL mine. His mom already has said that if it's a girl, we have to have the middle name as Merrie & I basically told her to eff off. I have a family of my own that I want to carry on family names with. She actually suggested that we name the kid after her if we have a girl (Roberta Merrie Thomas- Bobi for short)
I hate his mother. She hates me.
What makes her deluded mind even process the thought that I would want to name my child after her?! I told my SO that if that's how she wants to play, I was going to name our kid Melissa Laurie Deutsch (mom's name, sister's name, my last name)
I am very adamant about getting my way with this! LOL

lol oh wow! Yea I dont blame you.. & I especially hate when someone says what to name your kid.. That gets to me!

Yeah. My sister has been coming up with suggestions since I told her I was pregnant. I keep telling her that it's my baby & I am going to name it what I want. My mom says, if I have a boy, that I need to have it have my last name to carry on the family name (my sister & I are the only children on the "Deutsch" end so the name will end with us).
I wish people would just let me decide what I want to name my child!

sounds like your getting it every which way.. & coming up with a name is very important & should be shared with just u & the dad! if I was you.. I would wait till after the baby is born & announce the name.. Thats what my cousin did.. cuz they were afraid ppl would judge and steer them away from the name they chose. & about the last name part.. I would def run that by your BD & see what he thinks.. cuz thats pretty big. If anything hyphen it his-& ur last name!

Yeah, I'm getting stretched every which way. It's annoying but I chose not to listen. It's pretty easy to NOT answer phone calls or to change the subject.
I already know that I won't be able to keep the name a secret. I'm a huge blabbermouth & I know I'm going to be talking about it all of the time. But I'm quite a stubborn person so once my mind is set on something, that's it. I'm done. No budging. When I got pregnant, my sister tried to convince me to get rid of it. When my SO found out his ex was pregnant, he & I tried a trial separation to see if he could be the husband she wanted. I told him not way. He didn't want it. I didn't want it.
I pride myself in my ability to be hard-headed.

well thats good you dont let no1 push you over!!   and yea I dont blame you I cant keep nothing a secret.. When I first found out I was pregnant with this one we wanted to wait till after the u/s make sure everything was okay before annoucning! I ended up telling everyone & fb that day! I had to scream it to the world.

See, that's the one thing that I was actually able to keep a secret. When I found out I was pregnant in Sept, the only people I told were my co-workers & a couple of close friends that I see daily. I didn't want to tell family quite then because I knew what their reaction would (esp his family when he had a 3 month old at the time.) I actually kept it a pretty good secret until Thanksgiving when I told my parents. Ever since then, I tell EVERYONE! I announce everything now that I know I can!

yea! haha   I cant keep nothing a secret.. I kinda wanna do something fun to reveal the gender but I cant come up with nothing & our prolly wouldnt be able to keep my mouth shut!
