Okay, I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my second little girl. But I'm having a really big problem with figuring out how to deliver this time. With my first daughter I delivered vaginally and had 4th degree tears, they had to break her collar bone, and use forceps. After that they didn't stitch me up right and my daughter was in the NICU for a little over a week. Sooo should I try again, or do a c section?

I'd try vaginally again. It's still much safer than a C-section seeing as how it is a major surgery.

Every birth is different, you might have this baby out easy-peasy. I'd try vaginally.

How traumatic...I really dont know what I would do. I would be scared of both but I think I would try to go vaginally unless something happens down the road that would prevent it like breech or as you are farther along if your doctor things you'll have a similar situation I would go c-sec.

I've had a vaginal birth and a c section, I well have 10 vaginal births before I would even choose to have a c section again, and there a chance that wwon't happen again, every birth and baby is different

I had 4th degree with #1 & hardly a skid with #2 & they were the SAME size - in fact #2 was actually 6 oz heavier....go figure.

They broke her collar bone???

Oh this is good to hear... I had a 3rd degree cut with my first and it still hurts almost 2 years later. I tore it back open after the skin had started to heal picking up a laundry basket 4 weeks PP -_- Really hoping I don't have to deal with that again.

OP, I would try vaginally again. Every birth is different and all the older ladies I know say they get easier with each one. My mom had 4 and she always says my littlest sister fell out hahaha. She says she pushed once and the nurses had to catch her because the doctor wasn't even in the room yet, so hopefully this one is easier for you too

Then this should please you - I had 2 2nd degree cuts, a 3rd degree cut AND tore through my rectal muscle (4th degree part) and pushed #2 ou tin a few pushes (11 mins total) and felt TOTALLY myself right after he was out - as in could walk & set virtually pain free expect my hemorrhoids. I squatted to push out #2 & I think that really helps too.

Oh, that makes me happy lol. I was miserable for months after I had DS because of all the stitches and I had to push for over an hour. He was only 6 pounds 7 ounces lol.

Yah - made me happy too. LOL I was miserable for ages too - as in got sharp nasty shooting pains for 5-6 months post partum with #1 for no reason at all. Just nerve damage. With #2 i twas literlaly like whne women say they coudl squat, push the baby out & keep working - now labor was long for me with #2 (it was with #1 as well) but once it was over, no problem. I twas far easier dealing with 2 kids after #2 than doing what I needed to do with #1 & trying to just recover/heal. I was less tired, felt much better, it just was 100 times easier than what I had imagined in my mind. I HOPE it goes as well for you!
