Heres the story (hope I remember times correctly) Labor started @ around 2am that morning with very irregular contractions some spacing 6 m apart, some 20m. First 6.5 hrs spent @ home.. BTW laboring in tub, HIGHLY recommended
Arrived @ Dr bout 845 finally got back and checked around 930 and was 7.5 Cm. contractions were about 4-7m apart @ this point
Went straight over to hospital (literally across the street) around 10a. They checked me in, hooked me up, checked my cervix around 11 and I was 8.5 closer to 9 cm contractions were a regular 6m apart for a while.. I asked for my water not to be broken @ the time, but after a cpl hrs I agreed to it and my cervix went back down to an 8. They said my buldging waters was the reason for measuring more. My contractions started to get a little more intense around 130ish. They wanted to give a little pit, I refused and took the offer of getting on a birthing ball instead. That only lasted about 30 minutes. about 230 nurse came in and said that she thought it was still going to be a while and I asked her when they would check me again and she said not until I felt the urge to push. Within 10m she was back and said let me go ahead and check you now. After she checked she said I had a little lip on the right side and about the time she said that I felt the urge to push. They rushed in, set up (felt like forever) and by 3pm Ava was here. A little bruised bc they said she decended so fast. Luckily I didn't tear or need to be cut
