I'm curious if ANYONE on BG believes the world will end on December 21.
Do you believe?

I'm kind of hoping it does so I don't have to hear about it EVER AGAIN.

But, I doubt.

I'm afraid of the people that DO believe it's all over!

I believe there are three minds. Rational, wise mind and emotional. My rational and wise minds know that it is not going to end. My emotional mind believes it will end. I get anxiety thinking about it. But I also know if it happens, it happens there's nothing I can do about it.

That's what I think is going to happen more than anything.
Like, a LOT of riots and whatnot.

I don't believe it's going to end, everyone is going to die, etc. I just think it's going to change completely. I think we have some hard years ahead of us but I hope not.

In most ancient cultures the solstace of 2012 is supposed to mark the start of an age of enlightenment. Its meant to be a positive thing not a negative one.

when it doesn't, they are going to say "oops. we read the calendar wrong. It is actually next year!" and it will start all over again.

Lol, uhm. No I believe the economy will get even worse. Wars will be started, laws will be made that will make people protest, rallies will be started and violence will just get worse. I'm most likely wrong but the way I see it, if anything bad happens like "the world ending" it'll be that.
